- Overview
VMP(R)-type vertical multi-stage centrifugal pumps are characterized by compact and rational structure, less installation occupation areas, light weight, steady operation, easiness in maintenance, various good performance indicators and specially-designed mechanical seal which will prevent the transmitted liquid from leaking. This kind of pumps can deliver fresh water and sea water not higher than 80ºC.
They are applicable to the delivery fire water, water for refrigerating system, industrial water, agricultural water, water for high rises and hotels, water from deep well, fresh water and sea water.
The delivering temperature of VMP(R) hot water-type pump should not be higher than 130ºC, applicable to heating, bath room, and cold and hot-water circulation.

- Notes:
Do lift the pump axis (pump rotor) up by 1~2mm when the pump is connected to the motor, and tighten the bolts in the coupling.
Rotate the pump rotor and feel flexible before starting the pump. Full fill the pump with water before starting the pump (until water sprays out of the screw plug in the outlet section of the pump), and shut down the exit gate valve and cocks of pressure gauge and vacuum gauge.
Frequently check whether there is water leaking from the gland under the coupling. No leakage or small amount of liquid in the gland is the normal situation. If there is larger leakage, adjust or replace mechanical seal in the gland.
Overhaul (VMP) Overhaul should be made on pumps which have operated for 1000 hours. Replace the seal ring in time when the radius gap between the impeller and seal ring exceeds 0.5 mm due to abrasion.
Shutdown (VMP) Slowly turn off the exit gate valve and cocks of pressure gauge and vacuum gauge, and shut down the motor. Release the water out of the pump to prevent frost cracking when environmental temperature is relatively low. When the water pump is not intended to be used for a long time, unpack the pump, wipe dry the water in the parts and apply anti-rust oil on the sliding face for appropriate storage.
